Da vi skulle til å skrive en artikkel om nordlyset, bestemte vi oss samtidig for å teste ut Microsoft sin Copilot. Frem til nå har vi benyttet ChatGPT og Gemini flittig, til produksjon av oppsummeringer.
Vi har derimot valgt å ikke bruke KI til å skrive en hel artikkel for oss.
Men nysgjerrige som vi er, måtte vi prøve.
Saken ble grei nok den, og etter noen rettelser, korrigeringer og justeringer, var den klar til publisering – med en klar notis om at den var skrevet av KI, såklart.
Det vi dog ikke kom over, var Copilot sitt ønske om å dele sine interne instruksjoner med oss.

Ja, huffda. Langt og kjedelig. Men det gir et innblikk i hvordan disse KI-assistentene fungerer. Når Copilot hadde skrevet ferdig artikkelen, sendte den inn innholdet til en «operatør» – i dette tilfellet en kontrollmekanisme – som sjekket om KIens beskrivelse av innholdet matchet mitt prompt.
Da den gjorde det, fikk den en bekreftelse tilbake på dette.
Vi kunne ikke la være å dele dette, fordi det er første gang vi har fått levert interne instruksjoner av en AI. Sist vi så noe lignende, kjeftet «Sidney», som var kallenavnet på Bing Copilot før, oss ut fordi vi våget å bruke navnet Sidney. Vi fikk så hatten passet, og ble kalt et trussel mot jorden.
